RootNook

FAQ

Short answers to the questions we hear most, about who we are, how we work, and how we make money.

What is RootNook?

RootNook is a seasonal home and garden magazine covering gardening, indoor plants, small spaces, home organization, and home improvement, written for real homes and apartments. Every article is practical, specific, and honest about what it takes.

Who writes the articles?

All articles are written by our editor, Julia Reyes, who gardens in Zone 7b and has written about homes and gardens for over a decade. See the about page for the full story.

How often do you publish new articles?

We publish a new article most weeks, timed to the season. TheSeasonal Letter newsletter rounds up the best of each season in one email, every other week.

Do you accept guest posts or paid placements?

No. We do not publish guest posts, sponsored posts, or paid placements that look like editorial. Everything you read here is written in-house and judged on one standard: is it practical and honest.

How does RootNook make money?

RootNook is reader-supported. Some articles include affiliate links to products we genuinely recommend, and those articles are always clearly marked. We never let a commission change what we recommend. See theaffiliate disclosure for the details.

Do you track me or sell my data?

No. RootNook is a static website with no tracking cookies, no session analytics, and no data selling. We use only aggregate, cookie-free page counters that cannot identify you. Ourprivacy policy is one page for a reason.

Can I share or reuse your content?

Sharing links to our articles is always welcome. Republishing full articles or photos elsewhere is not allowed without written permission. If you have a question about reuse, just ask.

How can I contact you?
